Artist/Thesis Statement
Since I was little I wanted to practice animation as a profession. Unfortunately I had a late start on learning it seriously. Around sophomore year my skills were not as advance as I hoped they would be. Sometimes while working on assignments or doing personal projects I think “What if I can skip all the process and have a final product? To have exactly what I am thinking of with the touch of a button?” Luckily, with enough thought, concluded that having that immense power would not give me as much of a high as I thought it would. Ingrained in my mind and the rule of monkey’s paw, “The best thing is the idea of it.”
So I decided to touch upon this subject on a short story, where that reality can come true. From there it developed: the value of doing things yourself, gives any thing in life an inherent value not attached to economics.
