LIMINO is an original science fiction story persisting across multiple mediums that follows the main character Lumo, as he explores a post-apocalyptic future in which the world has been segmented and sealed. With the weight of the insomniac machine on his shoulders, Lumo presses on.
Artist/Thesis Statement
So many areas of art have influenced who I am as an artist today. Music, books, movies, video games, the list goes on. We all have a unique labyrinth of experiences within us that has shaped who we are. I’m attempting to prepare for the future by looking into the past. As I pause, looking ahead and behind, I find myself in this state of the in-between, feeling sort of suspended. I can see the horizon, but can’t quite see what’s waiting on the other side. As I wait for this transition to complete, I reflect on everything that has led me to this point while also being anxious of the endless crossroads the future may bring. All I can do is be present.
LIMINO is an original story infused with personal inspiration. The worlds of LIMINO are linked by an ancient network of portal technology, and without it travel between is impossible. The story follows Lumo’s point of view as he navigates this web of intertwined pathways. It explores themes of solitude, insignificance, and the importance of the destination’s journey. Within your world of connected dots, what are the lines that join them?
