A Walk in the Park
For my senior studio project I created an illustrated poem book that explores a variety of different stories and pairs them with wacky drawings. The book displays poetry, illustration, and storytelling in a unique and playful way. With the goal of taking the reader on a unique journey through many different topics leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.
For me poetry is a way to express the feelings I go through while creating characters. The emotions I feel, the thoughts that go through my head, and the stories I create don’t always come across with just an image alone. But with the addition of poetry my senior studio project was born.
